The district said in an email to parents around 9:30 a.m., Friday, May 17, that they made the decision to keep high and middle school students inside after the sighting, which was across the street from the schools at 301 Columbus Ave., Valhalla.
Mount Pleasant Police confirmed the sighting but said nothing was spotted by officers.
